The super-strong double overlock stitching uses bright orange or black thread to provide contrast against the smooth black finish and to make inspection easier.

You can use Shorty Straps for aerial straps training, general conditioning and strength training!
You can also use the straps individually as hand loops for aerial hoops, but they are not the most comfortable option for this purpose.
